About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a significant component of higher education institutions, particularly in the context of accreditation and quality assurance. It was established as a mandatory requirement by accreditation bodies like the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India. IQAC functions as a proactive body for planning, guiding, and monitoring quality assurance and enhancement activities.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sasurie College of Arts and Science has been established in the college on 15.05.2018 as a post accreditation quality sustenance measure.

Vision
To ensure quality culture as the prime concern in Sasurie College of Arts and Science through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support
Mission
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Functions Of IQAC
- Considering the feedback of students, faculty & parents for the best practices
- Organizing various workshops & seminars for the quality education environment
- Documenting all the activities in chronological order & keeping a tab on improvements
- Preparing & submitting one of the most important – Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the instructions of the NAAC.
- Setting quality benchmarks with consistent work
- Creating parameters to reach academic as well as non-academic learning goals
- Creating a student-centric teaching-learning environment
- Enabling faculty to efficiently use edTech tools for innovation in education
