General Instruction


NOTE: Registration fee: Rs. 100 /- per student. Food will not be provided. Food court is available in the campus.
Deadline for registrations has extended,we're still open for registations.



RULES

Talkathon


  • Topics for the event will be given an hour before the commencement of the event.

  • Participants can choose any one of the Language-English, Tamil, Hindi

  • Time allotted for each participant will be 5 minutes.

  • Theme, pronunciation, body language and expression will be judged.

YOGA


  • Participant should perform any asanas according to their category and each should be maintained for 20 seconds.

  • Grade 3 to 5 - Any 5 Asanas

  • Grade 6 to 8 - Any 5 Asanas

  • Grade 9 to 12 – Any 5 Asanas.

  • For boys and girls separate events

DRAWING


  • The participants need to exhibit their drawing skills using Crayons/Watercolour/ Mehandi/Rangoli/Pencil sketch.

  • Bring required materials.

  • Time duration 1 hour.

  • Drawing chart will be provided.

  • Presentation, theme and the style of shading will be judged.

  • The best participant will be awarded ‘Picasso award.’

QUIZ


  • Questions will be on the fundamentals of Science, Mathematics, Literature and current affairs.

  • Maximum three teams per school.

  • Three members per team.

  • Preliminary round will be written test.

  • Quiz master decisions will be final.

  • Finals – Participants have to go through varied rounds which include audio and video clues.

  • Timing and marking as per the quiz master’s instruction.

SINGING


  • Participants can expose their singing through Classical/ Western.

  • It can be a solo or a group performance.

  • Minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 can participate in a group.

  • Language chosen should be in Tamil / Hindi.

  • Use of back up voice in karaoke is not permitted.

  • The background music should be clear and audible.

  • The background music should be bought by the participants in a pendrive.

  • Harmful words and vulgarity can lead to disqualification.

  • The song should not exceed 5 minutes.

  • Shruthi ,pitch ,Thala , timing, coordination, song clarity and overall presentation will be judged.

SCIENCE PROJECT EXPO


  • Simple scientific laws have to be proved practically by the team.

  • Solo/pair/a team of three can participate.

  • Participants can choose the law to be experimented.

  • Should bring required apparatus and materials.

  • Sockets necessary should be informed earlier.

  • Best participant will be awarded ‘Young Scientist Award’


DANCE


  • Participants can expose their dancing skill through classical/ western.

  • It can be a solo or a group performance.

  • Minimum of 7 and maximum of 15 can participate in a group.

  • Language chosen should be in Tamil / Hindi.

  • Any number of team can participate from a school.

  • Students should bring their costumes and necessary items.

  • Harmful props and vulgarity can lead to disqualification.

  • Music need to be in pen drive to be played through audio system.

  • Song chosen, coordination, props used and overall presentation will be judged.

CHESS


  • It is approved by TDCA Tamilnadu.

  • Swiss FIDE rules will be followed.

  • Players should bring own chess set and clock.

  • Age proof certificates should be produced.

  • Chief arbiter’s decision is final.

  • AGE CATEGORY
  • Under 8 : on or before 01/01/2006

  • Under 11 : on or before 01/01/2004

  • Under 14 : on or before 01/01/2002

  • Under 17 : on or before 01/01/2000

KABAADI


  • Fully knockout based match.

  • 15min – 5min -15min.

  • Mud court playing area with Current rules (super tackle).

  • 700 per team registration –on table.

  • Cash award for winners and runner –up.

  • Weight category below 60kg.

  • Participates should bring their school ID card or team entry with principal and physical director signature for eligibility.

  • Last date for entry 20 Jan 17

PREMIUM LEAGUE :( under 18)


  • Fully knockout based match.

  • 10 over’s

  • Current rules

  • 1000 per team registration –on table.

  • Cash award for winners and runner –up.

  • Participants should bring their own kit with red tennis ball

  • Participants should bring their school ID card and team entry with principal and physical director signature for eligibility.

  • Last date for entry 20 Jan 17.

KARATE


  • Rules and regulations for Kata.


  • Age category

  • I : 8 & 9 yrs

  • II : 10 & 11 yrs

  • III : 12 & 13 yrs

  • IV : 14 & 15 yrs.

  • V : 16 & 17 yrs.

  • WKF rules will be followed.

  • Stamina, Speed and Power and Memory will be judged.

  • Karate dress is must.
